In its role as a mobile app publisher, the Amazon Appstore regularly processes millions of digital downloads and in-app purchases. Being famously metrics-driven and obsessed with customer satisfaction, we couldn’t let all that data go unanalyzed. Using cohort analysis, we identified key predictors of top-earning mobile apps and games, gaining insight into when customers purchase and why. This session interprets the data and offers practical suggestions to maximize mobile engagement and monetization.
